Should You Use an Agent?
When you first put a "For Sale" sign outside your home you will probably be visited by more agents than buyers at first. The agents will most likely tell you of the disadvantages of not using their services and provide you with a sales pitch. You could always use an agents set fee from specific consultancy type work if needed. You could also consider an open listing leaving you open to working with as many agents as you decide and the agent who brings you a buyer pockets 3% of the selling price. You still save approximately 3 %.

See Using an Agent to Sell Your Home section for more information.
