Will an Agent Give You? |
Most agents and all good
agents will give you a detailed presentation on:
- What they can do to sell your home.
- Information on comparable sales in you area.
- Information about the agent (some agents will even
provide you with a detailed resume).
- Current properties for sale in your area.
Based on this information the agent will give you a
recommendation on the asking price.
The agent will also be able to work out different net
proceeds statements based on different sales prices.
A net proceeds statement essentially provides you with
an estimate of your proceeds after paying off you mortgage
and paying out such expenses as the agent's commission
and other closing costs applicable to the seller.
