are many places you can locate an agent. One of the best
ways to find a good agent is through family and friends.
You can also ask work colleagues. Ask them what their
experience with the agent was like:
- Was the agent responsive and attentive?
- Did they get the list price or near the list price?
- Do the sellers believe they got fair market value
for the home?
- How long was the home on the market?
You can also visit local broker offices and check out
the local papers for advertisements. The Internet hosts
numerous sites for real estate brokers and some agents
even have their own sites. Agents are definitely not
hard to find and they may even seek you out if they
hear through the grapevine that you are selling your
home.
